If you are planning a trip to Freshwater West, why not see if you can find Dobby’s grave. Hidden in the dunes is a now quite large cairn that marks the spot.
Our plans, information and improvements
During our closed season we have fitted a new kitchen, which looks very smart. We hope our guest will love it as much as we do.
As our only energy supply is electricity we have decided to change suppliers to one that supplies 100% renewable energy. To this end we are now with Bulb. Apparently this means we will stop 1.3 tonnes of CO2 from entering the atmosphere. That’s the same as planting 655 trees.
After all the hard work over the winter Water’s Edge is ready to start a new season. But the pictures we had before now don’t really work, so what do? Fortunately we had just purchased some prints for our main house from Mariann Johansen-Ellis at the Borre326 gallery and studio. Mariann’s work has a real synergy with with Water’s Edge. The prints she has supplied for the property will look great. We hope our guest will get as much pleasure from the pictures as we will.
Wonderful cottage, we are birdwatchers so views are fantastic, so many birds seen from front and back windows. Very comfortable, really good standards. Numerous walks from front door . Spectacular cliff views after a 10 minute drive.
